XBASE

Security

Is it safe to connect your business WhatsApp and Instagram to XBASE?

The connection happens in an official Meta window, without handing over your Facebook or Instagram password. WhatsApp uses Meta's official API, and you decide who on the team sees what. No tool removes Meta's rules: following them is still part of the job.

  • WhatsApp through Meta's official API
  • Connection in an official Meta window

  • What you add stays yours

At connection

Three safeguards that come from how XBASE connects

  • Official channel

    Meta's official API

Your business WhatsApp connects through Meta's official API. XBASE does not connect WhatsApp through a QR code or a browser extension.

  • No password

    Authorization through Meta

You enter an official Meta window, choose the number or the account and approve access. XBASE does not ask for your Facebook or Instagram password.

  • Real conversations

    The customer starts

XBASE does not send bulk messages: the conversation starts with whoever wrote or commented. To pick it up again after the 24-hour window, only with a Meta-approved message template.

Inside the connection

How the connection with Meta works

WhatsApp: you connect your business number through Meta's sign-up window. The number can be the one your business already uses or a new one. Once connected, it works through the official API and stops working in the WhatsApp app on the phone.

Instagram: the account must be a professional account linked to a Facebook Page. The connection also goes through Meta's authorization.

The rules still apply: Meta can limit a number or an account based on message quality, even on the official API. XBASE helps you follow the rules (approved templates to reconnect, replies to people who showed interest), but whoever sends the messages is responsible for them.

You are in control

What stays under your control

  • Who sees each conversation

Create roles with the permissions you want. People who answer can see only their own conversations.

  • Who connects the channels

Connecting and disconnecting WhatsApp requires the manage integrations permission.

  • What the agent uses to reply

The agent uses the files you choose and follows the instructions and rules you set. Chat with it before putting it to work.

  • Who decides the reply

AI suggests, and the person reviews it before sending. The agent's improvement suggestions only apply with your approval.

  • Who owns the content

Instructions, files and settings you add remain your company's.

  • Payment

The subscription is paid on the payment provider's page, and card data does not stay on XBASE servers.

  • Your personal data

The Privacy policy states what data we collect, what for and how to request access, correction or deletion.

Risk and care

What puts an account at risk, and what avoids it

  • Puts it at risk: Giving your Facebook or Instagram password to an outsider

Avoids the risk: Connecting through the official Meta window

  • Puts it at risk: Connecting the business WhatsApp through a QR code in an unofficial tool

Avoids the risk: Using Meta's official API

  • Puts it at risk: Messaging people who did not ask

Avoids the risk: Replying to whoever wrote or commented

  • Puts it at risk: Insisting with open-ended text after the conversation went cold

Avoids the risk: Reconnecting with a Meta-approved message template

  • Puts it at risk: Letting the bot answer what it does not know

Avoids the risk: Teaching it with your files, setting rules and testing first

Before connecting

Five signs that a WhatsApp tool is risky

  1. 01

    It asks for your password

An official connection takes you to Meta's window. Nobody needs your Facebook or Instagram password.

  2. 02

It connects the number through a QR code

Connecting the business WhatsApp through a QR code, in an unofficial tool, is not Meta's API.

  3. 03

It sells bulk sending to bought lists

Messaging people who did not ask is the shortest path to getting the number limited.

  4. 04

It promises the number will never be blocked

Nobody controls Meta's decisions. Whoever promises that is not telling the truth.

  5. 05

    It promises followers or sales

No serious tool promises results. It shows what it does.
